MCOB PREP Internships
"Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune." - Jim Rohn"
Real Work Experience Required
Every Mitchell College of Business student is required to complete an internship or a portfolio of experiential work to fulfill the internship requirement. We know that skills are valuable, but hands-on experience is invaluable.
Internships allow students to:
- Gain practical experience
- Apply classroom knowledge
- Learn to work independently
- Build their resumes
Professional Development Activities:
- Dress for success fashion shows
- Mock interviews
- Dining etiquette formal dinner
- Mitchell Mocktail Hour
- Conducting effective business meetings
Experience in the workplace is simply a perfect balance to the theory and higher education we offer. It brings an advantage few graduates can claim.
