First MCOB Field Day a FUN Afternoon for students and faculty
On Friday, October 2, 2015, the Mitchell College of Business hosted the first ever MCOB Field Day. The event took place at the intramural fields on campus and at the Student Government Association pavilion, and was organized and hosted by our MCOB SGA Senators, Elizabeth Smith and Josh Crownover. Although the weather was unexpectedly chilly, several teams participated.
Among the groups represented were MCOB Faculty, the Accounting Club, the Society of Human Resource Management, the Professional Sales and Marketing Club, and other students. There was free food and soft drinks. The competitive activities included mini soccer, kick ball, tug-of-war, and hoola-hooping. Prizes were awarded to individual students and the winning teams. The Senators hope to hold a similar event in the spring and make Field Day a fun tradition in the Mitchell College of Business!
