Message from the Dean

Bob Wood

This month it’s my pleasure to introduce our Mitchell Ambassadors.  These undergraduate students are leaders in extracurricular activities and excel in academics.  Mitchell Ambassadors represent the college in meetings with external constituents.  They also meet prospective students and parents at USA Day and they work closely with the MCOB Student Services Office by assisting with new student orientation and registration.  They are leaders in the MCOB PREP Program, serve on the MCOB Strategic Planning Committee, and are ad hoc members of the MCOB Executive Advisory Council.

Allison Beck is a senior accounting major from Hatton, Alabama, a small town outside of Huntsville.  In addition to academics, she keeps busy by staying involved in a number of campus activities including Beta Alpha Psi and Chi Omega.  She also works part-time as a Desk Assistant on campus.  Allison plans to get her master’s degree and CPA before beginning her career.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and playing video games.
