Nursing Scholarships Website
This is a searchable scholarship database created specifically for nursing students. The scholarships listed here are provided by nursing associations, educational institutions, foundations, for-profit/non-profit organizations, etc. These are relatively non-competitive scholarships compared to general/non-major specific scholarships. Some of the scholarships give preference to minority, veteran and disabled students. If you belong to such groups, you have a good chance of securing fund for your education from this list. Nursing Educational Funds, Inc.
Nurses Educational Funds, Inc. (NEF) is a not-for-profit organization which seeks and distributes funds to baccalaureate prepared registered nurses who are in need of nursing scholarship assistance for graduate study. NEF is administered by a Board of Directors comprised of prominent leaders in nursing, business, and other professions. Nurses comprise the majority of board members.
Nursing Scholarship and Loan Repayment Resources
In today’s day and age many people are not in a position where they can afford a degree, and many young people find that the degree they have chosen does not lead to a job. This is not the case for those who wish to become Nurses.

CertifiedBackground.com and AACN
The new scholarship program provides $5,000 in support to outstanding nursing students in baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs at AACN member institutions. Eligible applicants must be admitted or enrolled in a nursing school affiliated with CertifiedBackground.com or have submitted an application through nursing’s centralized application service, NursingCAS (see https://portal.nursingcas.org).

AfterCollege, the leading employment website for nursing/allied health care students and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) have partnered to offer this new scholarship program for students pursuing professional nursing education programs. Scholarships will be in the amount of $2,500. There will be two winners with each application deadline. The deadlines are January 31, April 30, July 31 and October 31.

Biloxi Regional Medical Center Grants Available
Grants are available for students who are pursuing a Registered Nursing degree at the University of South Alabama. Grants will be paid for the second, third and fourth semesters of the registered nursing degree program. The selection process requires the applicant to submit application, letters of reference, transcripts, nursing career goals statement, and an interview. The maximum amount of total payment will be $5400 ($1800 per semester).
