Continuing Medical Education


Welcome to the Office of Continuing Medical Education

The University of South Alabama College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians.  For more than 40 years, USA's College of Medicine has been dedicated to sponsoring medical education activities that enable physicians and other health care professionals to better treat, manage, and educate their patients.  The Office of Continuing Medical Education plans and implements CME activities in accordance with the ACCME Criteria and Standards for Commercial Support.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education provides live and enduring medical education activities on a wide range of clinical disciplines including, but not limited to:

  • Emergency Medicine

  • Internal Medicine

CME Compliance

As a reminder, all physicians licensed in the state of Alabama are required to complete 25 hours of Category 1 CME on or before December 1 of every year.
