Health Education - Non-Teaching
This program prepares students enter the field of health education in community, medical care, workplace, and college and university settings. Health educators are prepared to assess individual and community needs, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate health education programs and services while serving as resource persons and communicating health education needs and concerns. Examples of content area course work include personal and community health, nutrition, safety education, human anatomy and physiology, drug education, psychology, environmental science, and sociology. An internship/field experience is required in this program.
