Psychophysiological Methods
The student will be exposed to the brain basis of psychophysiological processes in humans, including the physiology of neurons, the visual and auditory systems, and the heart. The student will learn a variety of psychophysiological recording techniques, including: Electrodermal Activity (EDA), Electroencephalogram (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Event-related Potentials (ERPs), eye monitoring using Electrooculogram (EOG), and the complex heart rhythm.
