Latin American Search
The Department of History at the University of South Alabama invites applications for a full-time (9 month), tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Latin American History to begin August 15, 2018. The successful candidate will be responsible for introductory and advanced courses in Latin American history, including courses at the M.A. level, as well as for U.S. History survey courses. Specialists in Caribbean History and/or the African diaspora are especially encouraged to apply. ABD candidates will be considered, but an earned Ph.D. in Latin American History or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. To receive full consideration, all application materials must be received by October 31, 2017.
